The Elwood Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the annual HOMETOWN HERO BANNER PROGRAM, honoring past and present members of the U.S. Armed Forces and Indiana National Guard who hail from Elwood, Indiana.
HOMETOWN HERO BANNERS are a wonderful way to honor the city’s local military heroes. The banners measure 18”by 48” and are printed on durable, outdoor vinyl. They are mounted on light poles throughout Elwood’s downtown areas and remain on display from Memorial Day through Veterans Day, after which the banners will be retired and returned to their sponsors.
Orders will be accepted through April 14. The fee is $100 per banner, OR $90 for current Chamber members. (Please note that the renewal of previous years’ banners is no longer available.)

The Chamber Welcomes New Director, Stacy Blake
The Elwood Chamber Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of its new executive director, Stacy Blake, who assumed the position effective June 6.
Stacy, an Elwood native, has worked in sales, marketing, and development for more than a decade. She brings her extensive communications, marketing, management, and leadership skills to the Chamber.
“I’m enormously excited to be back in Elwood,” she said, “as well as to have the opportunity to contribute to my hometown’s legacy and vision for growth through the important work of the Elwood Chamber.”
Stacy stepped into her new Chamber position on Monday, June 6. As she becomes acquainted with Elwood’s business sector, she will be getting out of the office to meet with community businesses and organizations to better understand the Chamber’s role in their lives and the entire city.
A 1988 Elwood High School graduate, Stacy is the mother of three grown children — Brandon, Chase, and Madyson, five grandchildren, and one more expected in January 2023.
