The Chamber supports numerous Elwood community activities, philanthropic charities, and service organizations in which Chamber members may engage. Among them are:
  • Ribbon cuttings
  • C.A.R.E.S. (Community Alliance Reaching & Engaging through Service) meetings – In partnership with the City of Elwood, C.A.R.E.S. meets at various locations from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. the last Tuesday each month, allowing community leaders and business owners to come together, promote their business, and give updates.
  • Mayor & Merchants meetings - Meetings are held quarterly at various locations throughout the uptown area. The hour-long meetings provide local business owners the opportunity to announce what's happening, to ask questions, express concerns, and exchange ideas. Mayor Todd Jones will update business owners about what's taking place in the city, potential new business for Elwood, and upcoming events. All business owners are encouraged to attend and participate.
