ELWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Building Business • Building Community
The united voice for Elwood commerce since 1936, the Elwood Chamber of Commerce is an organization representing a variety of interests from within the community. Our membership is composed of privately owned small businesses, local operations of national chain stores, retail stores, factories, restaurants, service providers, churches, civic organizations, financial institutions, government offices, medical providers, and private individuals.
The Elwood Chamber is honored to represent our beautiful city. Whether we are greeting our numerous out-of-town visitors, serving as the goodwill ambassador, or partnering with area businesses and leaders to achieve a multiplicity of goals, we aim to be an indispensable resource for our members and our city.
Our community is always striving for improvement and growth, and its challenges become more clearly defined as our members interface with like-minded entrepreneurs, professionals, experts, and friends and draw from one another’s unique experience.
Now, more than ever, working together to seek answers and effect change is crucial. Success is built on solid relationships and the discovery that we are not alone.
Separately, we can do so much; but together, we can do so much more.
THE CHAMBER THANKS OUR COMMUNITY'S LOCAL HEROES
The Elwood Chamber has recognized the hard work of the community's school nurses, medical, fire and law enforcement professionals, and funeral home directors. Members of the Chamber board and I have visited the designated front-line heroes at their places of business to present them with an Elwood Community Front-Line Award, designed and crafted by Jeff Ball of Carol's Legacy Glass. The award is a token of our heartfelt appreciation for all they have done over the past year to keep us safe.
The award recipients are from: Ascension Medical Group Stress Center, Ascension Medical Group Pediatrics, Ascension-St. Vincent Mercy, Ascension Medical Group - Primary Care and Occupational Health, Aspire Indiana, Community Physician Network Family Medicine Care, Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home, Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood Elementary School, Elwood Family Dentistry, Elwood Family Medicine, Elwood Fire Department, Elwood Intermediate School, Elwood Junior-Senior High School, Elwood Police Department, Elwood Senior Health & Living, Fresenius Kidney Care, Hallmark Orthodontics, Heaven Sent Home Health Care, Meridian Health Services, Moser & Moser Optometrists, and the office of Dr. Scott Prusinski
